Vocal Company
The Vocal Company or VC is, for 2021, a 16 member ensemble (8 identifying male and 8 identifying female) typically made up of undergraduate and graduate performance majors, although majoring in performance is not a prerequisite. All principal roles will be cast before the season begins.
VC members receive vocal and dance training as part of the weekly rehearsal process. The schedule is both demanding and highly rewarding. While one show is being performed in the evening, the following week's show is being rehearsed during the day. Rehearsal begins at 9:30 a.m. with a break for lunch at 12:00 and then continues from 1:30 until 5:00 with a performance in the evening. There are six performances of each show, Tuesday, Wednesday Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., and 2:00 p.m. matinee performances on Thursday and Friday. There is a Sitzprobe on Saturday afternoon, a technical rehearsal on Sunday evening, and a dress rehearsal on Monday evening.
In addition to the regular season of nine shows, CLOC proudly participates in events that elevate our local community of Falmouth, MA. Examples of such events include an Independence Day Concert, performance at the local Arts Alive Festival, as well as volunteer-based opportunities.
All Company members are assigned chores that help keep the campus and theatre running.
Members of the VC must arrive on campus by 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 4, 2021 and depart by noon on Sunday, August 22, 2021.

Exceptions to these dates will be considered on a case by case basis.
VC Members are paid room, board and a small stipend.
