Youth Artists
Our youth artist program is open to kids ages 8-14 to fill children’s roles when the season requires younger performers. Experience is not necessary prior to audition; our creative team works with youth artists to help them feel comfortable and confident on stage.
Youth artists must be ready to act and sing on stage, take direction, memorize their lines, and work with large groups of other actors of all ages. Specific info about dancing or other physical requirements will be included in audition information.
Rehearsal schedules vary but often include Sunday nights during pre-season in June, and then a week of daily rehearsals leading up the show. Daily rehearsals may run anywhere from 9am-10pm; youth artists are invited to join the company for meals when on campus for multiple rehearsal sessions. Performance week consists of 5 evening performances that may end as late as 10:30pm and 2 additional matinees.
Auditions will be held in the winter. Please email [email protected] for information on this year’s auditions.
