Synopsis
Dorothy Gale lives quietly on her Uncle Henry and Aunt Em’s Kansas farm until the day a cyclone hits and she and the farmhouse are swept over the rainbow to the fantastic land of Oz. Dorothy is greeted by the Sorceress of the North and the Munchkins who tell her that the falling house has crushed and killed the Wicked Witch of the East. The Wicked Witch of the West arrives and swears to take revenge for the death of her sister. In order for Dorothy to escape the Wicked Witch and return to Kansas, she must go to the Emerald City, where she will find the most powerful magician of the land, the Wizard of Oz. In all of Oz, only the Wizard is powerful enough to help her get home. Along the way on the yellow brick road she meets and befriends a scarecrow, a tin woodman and a lion. Together they battle Jitterbugs, the Wicked Witch, and their own fears, while discovering that dreams really do come true.
