Box Office Treasurer
The role of the Box Office Treasurers (BOTs) at any theatre is a crucial one. Generally, the treasurer is the first person in the company with whom the public has direct contact. The job requires an out-going and engaging personality, tact, patience and intelligence. Accuracy and attention to detail is required as is neatness of appearance. The personal integrity and honesty of the applicant should be addressed in the letters of recommendation.
With Covid 19 a prime consideration for summer 2021, The Box Office Team will have the added responsibility of ensuring a safe experience for our guests.

The successful applicant is generally an undergraduate interested in learning about all aspects of non-profit and box office management. Prior experience is helpful, but not required. This is a learning situation and a good Box Office Treasurer can usually expect to be considered for work at a professional theatre after a year with CLOC.

The two BOTs are responsible for the operation of the Box Office under the direct supervision of the Business Manager. As members of the business staff, the BOTs also helps with marketing, event planning, fundraising and other aspects of non-profit as required.

Through our CRM system, Patron Manager which operates on the SalesForce platform, the treasurers keep accurate records of ticket transactions and balance all Box Office business daily.

Business staff members must arrive on campus by 6:00 p.m. on June 2, 2021 and depart by noon on Sunday August 22, 2021.
The entire company is required to participate in a final strike on the evening of Saturday August 21 2021.

Exceptions to arrival and departure dates will be considered on a case by case basis.

The position pays room and board and a stipend.

Applicants must include two letters of recommendation, a resume and cover letter. Applications must be received by midnight Friday February 12th.
